Religious bigotry and ethnic jingoism

I begin with the Name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Some people just decided that their only contribution to nation building is nation destruction. They wake up every morning thinking of what to promote of ethnic jingoism or religious bigotry and anarchism. They find it difficult to promote peace or to even see things positively. They preach it everyday on their pulpits even when you live peacefully with them.
A nation as divided and polarized along religious and ethnic lines as Nigeria is a danger to itself. It is only by the Grace of Allah that we wake up everyday to go about our daily activities otherwise, the evil the majority of the citizens wish upon this nation is beyond imagination.
If the citizens promote and present their nation negatively, how do you expect foreigners to embrace it. Most citizens of Nigeria are forcing others to imagine Nigeria as a disaster. It beats the imagination how sane people will decide to promote anti-sentiments against themselves. Completely allowing hatred for a religion and ethnic group to determine their opinions.
If we live by negativity and hatred we will build a negative nation full of sadists and unfortunate religious and ethnic bigots that will be so blinded by the monster they built to even see justice and peace as virtuous tools for nation building.
It is laughable for those that promote hatred against any ethnic group to present themselves as intellectuals and progressives. The reality is, that action and mentality is the peak of backwardness and ignorance. If you are not intelligent enough to see beyond ethnicity and hatred for a particular religion, then don’t claim it because it is not yours.
Islam offers the ultimate solution to racism, ethnic jingoism, religious bigotry because it teaches us to deal justly with people even if they are non-Muslims and to eschew any form of racism or ethnicity in whatever manifestation.
Some said, each time we plot against Islam and the Muslims they emerge stronger, it is high time we gave up.
