The devils deception of the betting platforms
Written by Abu Jabir Abdullah Penabdul
The devil’s deception of the betting platforms in Nigeria, nay, in the world.
Betting whether looked at from religious or moral point of view, is a satanic web. It is a money grabbing system designed to perpetually destroy the emotional, psychological and mental well-being of those that have ignored the religious injunctions against it.
Betting is controlled by a dangerous cartel just as drug trafficking is. They depend on the dependence of the addicts to survive.
However you look at it, it is obnoxious and evil handiwork of Satan. You win, it is an unfortunate spell. You lose, it still an unfortunate spell. Winners know not when to stop and losers know not when to give up.
Millions of youth, employees, fine officers etc are faced with the betting tsunami that has guaranteed their utter ruination. They have become slaves to the bet kings knowing not when they will gain their freedom.
Any government that is serious about the future of its youth and nay the entire nation, should have a rethink on the legitimacy they gave to betting through the establishment of National lottery regulatory commission. The presence of lottery itself is enough danger.
Many youth are suicidal because of betting. Many have threw away their life savings to betting. The bet kings are lavishing on the anguish of the bettors.
Without government’s deliberate intervention to put an end to betting, many homes and many hopes will be shattered. You can’t simply build a nation that will be handed over to emotionally and psychologically damaged humans.
I think, it is the collective responsibility of community leaders to ensure that there is no presence of betting kiosks in their communities. While a responsibility of the government to see how to put an end to its digital presence.
The skit makers claim to make others laugh while in disguise they steal way people’s joy by promoting and advertising for betting companies and sites.
Betting he become such an evil that an invitation to it is almost inevitable. Our phones have become gateways to anguish.
